History in ornaments
Album “Stergaruldinreguinea Dunariidejos” (“Canvases of the Lower Danube”) by the dean of the I.I. Mechnikov ONU History Faculty was introduced to the scientific society of the city. The edition offers over one hundred ornaments that are traditional for Danube area during the XIX-XX centuries. The anchors of democracy in the Black Sea region
The digest “Anchors of democracy: The Black Sea” is dedicated to the problems and opportunities of political and economic processes in the countries of the Black Sea region. This compilation of scientific works was published by the Institute for Parliamentarism and Democracy of Vienna. Among the many works of Ukrainian and foreign scientists an article by the Ph.D. in International Relations, lecturer of the I.I. Mechnikov ONU political sciences researcher Sergei Glebov. The University published a book of reminiscence of Leon Kalustian – the legendary president of ONU Professional Committee and the leader of Odessa Armenian Society
The book “Memorial readings in remembrance of Kalustian” was published in series “Times and years”. Collection of materials and financing the publishing is attributed to the Professional Committee of employees of I.I. Mechnikov ONU. The publication of reminiscence of the legendary president of ONU Professional Committee and the longstanding leader of Odessa Armenian Society is timed in order to coincide with the four-year anniversary of his passing away (1922-2006). The book will be of interest to anybody, who is curious of the history of Odessa in XX century, the life of the Armenian Society and the origins of establishment of the largest university in Southern Ukraine.
