The roads into the great world start at Odessa University. Representatives of the leading higher education institutions of Europe, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine held an establishment meeting of the new project Erasmus Mundus – “Mobility for innovations and development” at I.I. Mechnikov ONU.
“Odessa University is our reliable partner, this is why the establishment meeting is held here, - noted coordinator of BMU-MID Irinia Patkinen. – Goals of the meeting include getting to know new partners, evaluating the state of Bologna Process in different countries, completing administrative procedures and establishment of organizational conditions for the new competition”.
The forum at ONU gathered all members of the consortium BMU-MID – representatives of nine Western European (Germany, Spain, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Finland and France) and 11 Belarusian, Moldovan and Ukrainian universities. The outcome of this meeting is the signing of a memorandum of mutual understanding and organizational documents under the competition of internships “Mobility for innovations and development”.
Applications can be filed starting the 18th of October, and detailed information about the terms and quotas of internships will be published after the beginning of the competition.
The international consortium of 20 European universities BMU-MID was founded in 2011. The consortium will offer 203 grants to students and scientists for internships in partner universities within the program “Erasmus Mundus. Action 2” in the years 2012-2015.
